Jessica started dancing at the age of four. She trained extensively with the Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy as well as with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, (Where she was invited to perform with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company) and summer programs at the School of American Ballet and Joffrey Ballet School. After completing her training, Jessica danced professionally with the Milwaukee Ballet Company for seven years performing various corps de ballet and soloist roles.
After being sidelined with an injury, Jessica attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison where she earned business degrees in Real Estate and Marketing. After working in commercial real estate for six years she started her own business as an independent contractor with Norwex in 2014. Now as a senior leader with Norwex, she manages a large team and helps customers and hosts create healthier homes through safer cleaning and personal care products. In her spare time, she loves travel, reading, design and spending time with her husband, two sons, daughter and extended family.
Jessica is so happy to be able to use her dance background, skills and knowledge to develop strong and happy dancers with Cedarburg Poms!

Alex Hottinger walked into a dance studio at 2 years old dressed as a cat and never looked back. She began her training with Accent on Dance and spent a few years at the Young Dance Academy in the performance group as a small one (still dressed as a cat).
In 5th grade Alex started at Anita’s Dance Center in Muskego WI and within 2 weeks was asked to join the performance company where she performed many festivals, competitions, traveled to Disney World, and performed at the 1996 Olympic stages in Atlanta.
In High school Alex decided to slow down from 7 days of practice a week and joined Arabesque Dance Studio where she started teaching. Alex taught at this studio and did the majority of show choreography starting at 18 years old.
During college Alex started a dance team at Lakeland University in Sheboygan WI and started teaching at Jessica’s school of dance as well as assistant coaching the Sheboygan North High School Dance Team.
Alex moved back to the Milwaukee area and began teaching at Arabesque studio once again, specializing in the choreography and teaching the elite and advanced levels of dancers, sending a few off to the Minnesota Dance Team. She taught classes the day before she gave birth, demonstrating a donkey kick at 9 months pregnant. After a few more years of teaching Alex started a job that required a LOT of travel and could no longer stay teaching at a studio and sadly took a break, but is more than happy to be back in the dance world on
During the day Alex is a product consultant for financial software with FIS Global working with financial institutions on improving their business processes and software usage. Dance is the creative outlet that keeps her “sane”.
Alex is recently married to some guy named Paul and has a son going into high school this year. Her dog is the family manager.

Lindsay Igl brings a wealth of dance experience and a passion for mentorship to Cedarburg Poms. With over 10 years of studio dance training growing up, Lindsay developed a deep love for the art form, which continued to flourish throughout her time as a member of her high school dance team. She later expanded her expertise as an assistant coach for the Sheboygan Falls high school team. Outside of coaching, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family, live music, being outdoors, and staying active through exercise. She believes in balancing hard work with fun and brings that energy into everything she does. Her coaching philosophy centers around not only helping her dancers grow in their technical abilities but also fostering strong friendships. She finds joy in watching her dancers build confidence, learn discipline, and form lasting bonds that extend beyond the dance floor.

Laurel found her love of dance, following in her big sister‘s footsteps, at the age of three at the studio Masters of Movement in Racine, WI. She left studio dance for a few years and began doing competitive Varsity Poms at New Berlin West High School when her family moved. During that time, she also joined Accent on Dance in Mukwonago, WI.
After high school, Laurel was accepted as a Dance major at UWM Peck School of The Arts while also studying Human Services/Social work. She spent a year as the choreographer for Milwaukee Rock Theater, and shortly after became a stay at home mom.... her best job ever!!!!! Today, Laurel also loves working in restaurants and other forms of hospitality services.
When her daughter joined Cedarburg Poms, she met Stacy and has been working for the program since the 2023-2024 season. In her spare time (what is that?), she likes to hang out with her kiddos, her husband, and their two very large breed silly dogs. She also enjoys traveling as much as she can and is a total foodie!
